This course is designed to provide students with a basic global awareness of the world in which we live. In addition to basic geographic skills, a large emphasis will be placed on human geography and studying different cultures throughout the world. Students will use the five themes of geography (movement, regions, human-environment interaction, location, and place) as they examine different parts of the world. Units of study will include Geography Fundamentals, North America, and Latin America.
